Well me ol scramblers who fancies coming along on this adventure day out taking in a ride on the London Cable 🚠 Car -£7 one way tap and go ( via the DLR at West Ham on the C2C line ) over the River Thames to the O2 where we can stop for a coffee / tea before walking along The Olympian Way river path to Greenwich. We will then ascend up to Meridian Line in Greenwich Park for fab views over the surrounding area. Afterwards we will descend back in to Greenwich for lunch to one of the many eateries on offer. As from past experience please don't all go the same one as this will delay food orders. After Lunch we will take a walk through the Thames Tunnel near the Cutty Sark to Island Gardens on the Isle of Dogs for our walk back to Limehouse Station via The Thames Path and Canary Wharf. The start of the event will be around 0900am on the train for C2C users. We will alight at West Ham for the DLR to Royal Victoria ( DLR station for the London Cable car ) Please note : I have now put the train times on for C2C users in photos. As the route is all concrete and tarmac please wear the appropriate footwear. Please also bring fluids the keep you hydrated plus energy nibbles.
